Charles Prael is a long-time fan and west coast SMOF of dubious repute, having run damn near every department in a convention, and floor managed the ConFrancisco Worldcon and a few other, lesser-known events (Baycon, Silicon, AnimeCon, Anime Expo) and more. These days, one of his day jobs is as CFO and general financial cat-herder for CubeCab, a smallsat-focused space launch company that by the time you read this may have closed it's A round, and be busy bending composites. He's not a rocket scientist, he's just the guy who has to manage them. His prefered nouns are "rum" and "scotch" in the evening, and "coffee" in the morning.
