Chicken Pulp: A Fowl Collection features stories in which the primary protagonist is a chicken. Most of these protagonists use fowl language to express themselves and their predicaments. In a post-apocalyptic world, chickens live below, but eggs are taken to the surface, and no one knows why; fowl play is suspected. A child comes down with an odd illness, and investigating fowl find something that should not exist. In a pioneer town, a veterinarian tries to promote dairy products, only to encounter a fowl problem. Ah, well. Keep on clucking.
