A theoretical physicist by training, Hans G. Schantz discovered how bound or reactive electromagnetic energy becomes radiation and vice versa. He parlayed his scientific expertise into a career as an inventor with more than 40 patents, and he co-founded Q-Track Corporation where he serves as CTO designing and selling indoor location systems that rely on low-frequency near-field wireless technology. He is the author of The Art and Science of Ultrawideband Antennas, and the science fiction techno-thriller, The Hidden Truth. Hans lives in Huntsville, Alabama with his wife, and two sets of twins.
Scheduled Programming Events Featuring Hans G. Schantz
Dr. Hans Schantz explains how electromagnetics works by explaining near or reactive fields in a (mostly) non-mathematical fashion. For professional engineers and scientists, and informative for novices interested in understanding how the world works.
Roundtable discussion of various and timely science topics moderated by Dr. Robert Hampson. This is a remarkable panel dating back to the earliest LibertyCons. Everyone gets a say but no one gets to say too much.
